ABOUT JENN
About Jenn
Jenn Wilenta is a speaker, advocate, educator, dancer, and producer of the award-winning documentary Tiny Movements.
After surviving years of drug-facilitated intimate partner abuse, Jenn turned to movement as a daily practice of healing. What began as dancing alone in her kitchen evolved into the Tiny Kitchen Dances project and ultimately inspired Tiny Movements, which follows her journey of rebuilding her life while advocating for herself and her children.
For more than twenty years, Jenn has worked as an educator and curriculum developer, guiding children and families through creative and developmental learning. Today, she brings her experience as both an educator and survivor into workshops, public conversations, and speaking engagements exploring trauma, sexual assault, drug-facilitated rape, and healing through movement.
Her work brings lived experience into conversation with the body, creativity, and community — creating space for honest conversations about what it means not only to survive trauma, but to rebuild a life after it.
